I am a British guy who has spent a large part of his life traveling, on business but also for my own pleasure. I worked in Publishing for many years traveling around Europe on a expense account and having a great time. In the eighties I spent two years working as a teacher in Sudan and in the nineties I spent four years traveling in the Asia/Pacific region, which included a year living in Hong Kong. My most recent big trip was a two year journey through Central and South America and Africa and at the moment I'm planning a trip to South East Asia, to visit places that were either to difficult or dangerous to travel to in the past. For me Traveling is not a form of work or ‘doing’ places, it’s how I choose to spend my time.
