I am a 47 year British guy who has spent a large part of his life traveling, on business but also for my own pleasure. I worked in Publishing for many years traveling around Europe on a expense account and having a great time. In the eighties I spent two years working as a teacher in Sudan and in the nineties I spent four years traveling in the Asia/Pacific region, which included a year living in Hong Kong. I’ve never bothered that much about money or careers, I get more satisfaction from being well traveled and well read. At the moment I am at the end a two year trip through Central and South America and Africa. Traveling is not a form of work or ‘doing’ places, it’s how I choose to spend my time. You only have one life, why live a dull one?
