About vilma
Telling a story with no words, which would be possible for other person to read is a great ability. To make one good shot is a luck but to make a sequence of good shots which would be equally good and still connected with each other is not a luck but thoughtful and conscious work. This work requires some knowledge, empathy, passion and will.
With this course I would expect to gain the hands-on experience how the photographic process is evolving from the research to the final edition of the series. This kind of course will give the opportunity to become more focused photographer and be able more clearly to read the situation and solve occurring problems on the spot. The ways of orientation in a new space and reaction to what comes is another part, which I would like to learn from professional photographer/tutor.
My name is Vilma and I live in Vilnius, Lithuania. Wherever I lived in the world (Czech rep., Saudi Arabia, USA, Turkey) photography helped me to survive in all circumstances, which those different places brought. I was published in few magazines and I would like photography to become bigger part of my professional life.
