Hanoi is most interesting! Especially the way they drive in town!! Thousands of millions of cars and motorcycles and just EVERYBODY is driving where there is a free spot. No rules at all. Still I feel pretty save on the back of a motorcycle-taxi. Amazing enough they DO manage to drive along together..Then there is the smog, difficult to breathe without coughing.. So a couple of days in town seemed enough :)On the other hand there are zillions of tiny coffe-shops, bars and stores. Great to explore!And the all-socialistic flags and monuments all around. Great to see school-kids walking around with the same uniform I used when I went to school :)
Have seen the area around Ninh Binh. Nice stones in the middle of rice-fields. Boat trip through caves. Pretty touristic..
Now on Cat Ba Island, a little island in Halong Bay. Beautiful surrounding! Unfortunatly the rain started the second we arrived here. So long no swimming, but motorcycle-tours, enjoying the great nature.
