My partner and I were working as cooks for the outdoor kitchen at the Pari-Dakar bicycle race. I put my laptop (in its bag) inside a tall kitchen locker one evening. Someone opened up the locker and the laptop and bag fell out of the locker and on to the floor. The laptop would not turn on afterwards.
They couldn’t, this was not covered in policy.Claim Denied; this policy did not offer coverage of damaged baggage. According to our policy conditions for baggage, we only cover theft and loss of baggage as well as delay of baggage.
