Long story short- I was camping in Los Angeles, California while on a cross country trip of the USA. I had the opportunity to do laundry at the campsite for the first time in quite a while, so I washed everything I had, including my cell phone that was in my jeans pocket. Needless to say, it was absolutely dead when it came out.
Reimbursed me the full value of my phone (it was an expensive one!)
