    There are [84] photos and [2] stories about Peru

    Peruvian hot showers, one of the most lethal devices in the world. The first time I used one, my head touched the nozzle. I then recieved a huge electric shock and bright flashing for about 3 seconds. It was quite a thrill. by: tk-tempany Views[547] On our way back to Lima along the barren coast of Peru. The little shanty homes along this stretch were of stark contrast to the homes we saw a few days later on California's Highway 1. by: tk-tempany Views[588] Thankfully we made it down the mountain safely. This was almost at Huaraz, where Kathryn was waiting for my return. It was a blessed reunion. by: tk-tempany Views[526] We eventually got going again. I was horrified when we came over this pass and realised we would be descending down this road. To think the steering had just snapped and then been repaired with some rusty bolts concerned me a little. by: tk-tempany Views[487] After about 5 hours on the bus trip back to Huaraz, we came across some mechanical issues. The steering had snapped. We were here for an hour while the driver fiddled with rusty metal. by: tk-tempany Views[520]
