We were booked to be on flight BA556 from London to Rome and the flight was cancelled. Due to the massive airport congestion we were advised to leave the airport and re-book the flight from "home". We were staying with friends in Bristol and therefore had to pay to take a bus back there. We then immediately cancelled the accommodation in Rome and Venice but they e-mailed us with cancellation charges. The train which we had prepaid from Gatwick to Bristol was non-refundable as well.
