Brain Irritation

BOLIVIA | Wednesday, 7 May 2008 | Views [244]

I have never been so frightened in my life. I was travelling in Sucre, in southern central Bolivia, when I suddenly lost my vision. I was rushed to the emergency department of a local hospital where I underwent a battery of tests and was placed under the care of a neurologist. I had some kind of brain irritation, which was obviously serious because the specialist would not let me leave the city until he was satisfied with my recovery.

How World Nomads helped

Specialist care and extensive tests including MRI, blood tests, X-rays, cardiograms and several medical examinations.
