winter sports and snow

Hello once again.

It snowed all yesterday!!!! Of course it is a big mess today, but it really made Torino look beautiful. Things are looking up here, my hives are almost gone, I have a new staff at my venue and all are wonderful (but all Italian speakers) and I have been able to get away and see some events. Still no luggage, but it is just stuff......

I got to go to the women's hockey semi-finals, USA vs. Sweden. After overtime and a shoot-out we ended up loosing, but it was fun to go anyway. And of course there is an Alaskan on the team, so I had to go!!!!

I also got over to the men's 1000m speed skating the other day, and saw Shani Davis get the gold which was great. The Dutch crowd are amazing and were there in force cheering for just about anyone.........

Well I better be going, today is a short day and I hope to go see some events, Jo and I are thinking about curling.......
