En route to Kazbegi at the north end of the Georgian Military Highway (the increasing amounts of snow were a bit concerning to me in my spring clothes) Views[18] Ubiquitous roadside vendors Views[17] Views[16] Ahhhh so much snow!! The road was half-filled with icy/watery potholes and several vehicles got stuck inside one particular tunnel, including our marshutka... we also popped a tire Views[17] Views[150] Views[16] Helping the Dutch ski-mountaineers stock up on chocolate in Kazbegi Views[26] A pretty relief next to the line of cafe/vendors Views[19]
 
The down-turned grapevine cross typical in Georgia is modeled after that of St. Nino, who converted the country to Christianity in the 4th century Views[19] Views[18] Getting in a little football with the son of the homestay I crashed at in Kazbegi Views[22] The tiniest, most perfectly set church I've ever seen in the middle of a 360 degree mountain panorama (I went with some locals teens to an all-night Orthodox Palm Sunday service) Views[23] Views[20]
