Reached the last leg of the tour in Germany yesterday. Saturday evening I should have reached Austria where I'll be flying a Union Jack on my kayak seeing that the Germans ended their stint in the European championship.
Deffo deserve a day of rest here in Passau. Weather is getting hot hot hot - uncomfortable! I'm shopping for provisions again as food is just too good in Germany and you are bombarded with it at every corner.
There is so much I want to write and say as so much is happening whenever I'm paddling down the river but soon as I get close to a computer the old mind goes blank - oh well, nothing new there.
Thanks for the comments - two days rest is a luxury I can't afford at present unless I'm being granted an extension to my hols :) Don't say indefinite leave... - Day and a half rest will have to do for now. The paddling is very therapeutic really. I'm loving being on my own. Really don't want anyone to join - just peace and quiet - it's great.
I'll try the foot powder for the shoes - also washed them again yesterday.
