Caught a shuttle bus from Lake Tekapo to Mount Cook. The weather here can be very poor, but today I had a warm and clear day. Climbed upto a ridge overlooking Mount Cook where I had lunch. It was very peacefull, just me and the mountains. It was so quiet that I could hear the glacier and snow sheets as they moved. The descent down the ridge was a little tricky due to the scree but the rewards of the views made it worth the effort. This has to be one of the highlights of my trip so far.
