    These children watch closely the devil´s submission, looking forward to the time when it will be their turn to pay their pledge to the Holy Sacrament. by: puertaisa Views[620] on the final day, at sunset, devil´s return to the church and kneel face down to the earth, with masks off, as a penance and an act of submission by: puertaisa Views[640] Los Diablos de Chuao (Devils from Chuao) it´s a celebration performed during Corpus Christi. Men who are in the Fraternity of the Holy Sacrament organize the celebration, and those who have a promise to pay will dance all over town dressed as devils without rest for three days. by: puertaisa Views[1233] The Devil´s most significant piece of the wardrobe is the mask with exaggerated features and horns with a yellow, blue and red ribbon, and it´s accompanied by a colorful suit similar to those of the Spanish in the seventieth century, garnished with a tail and crosses, a whip in one hand and a maraca in the other. Masks are typically made from clay, wood and paper maché and may vary according to the hierarchy. by: puertaisa Views[1215] First day in the morning the altar of the Forgiveness Cross is embelished, where the devils will commend themselves to God and offer candles to de Holy Sacrament. In those houses where the men will put their outfits a ritual will be performed in order to protect them against Satan´s siege. by: puertaisa Views[1720]
