Ok, it's time for Trent O'Donnell, our documentary producer extraordinaire, to hit the road on his next assignment. He'll need to travel to Xo village, high in the remote Mai Chau Highlands of Vietnam with 11 other World Expeditions community project travellers.

Goal - Help build a new classroom and deliver much needed school supplies for the students at Xo village.

What the team won't know is that they'll be confronted by both a tragedy within the village as well as feel the sting of late season monsoon rains which delay project materials. How will they cope with the pressure?

Dear Trent: I was so delighted and blown away to be able to watch your program on Nepal while I was leading a Nat Geo trip to Bhutan last week. (I am an anthropologist by training.)My husband photographer Thomas Kelly and I have lived in the Himalayas for over 25 years and we've been living with the nomads in Mongolia for the past nine summers. We've helped with films for Nat Geo, PBS, CBC, BBC and more. Thomas is leading a trip with Global Exchange based on his award-winning work with the Gates Foundation on a book about trafficking in SouthAsia "Fallen Angels". We just finished a project here in Nepal with AWB ("Acupuncturists Without Borders") 20 acupuncturists who had treated over 10,000 people post Hurricane Katrina, treating in monasteries throughout Nepal for truama- a training essential in an earthquake prone conflict region. We will be traveling with AWB up to Mongolia in August. (We were local producers for Nat Geo Light at the Edge of the World with Wade Davi's Mongolia: People of the Windhorse") Please write if you might be interested--healing, interaction with indigenous healers--might be something!
