The typical orange here has green skin and is not that sweet, but it's very juicy. The fruit to the left is a "mamey", a fruit native to Latin America. And in the back is a cocoa, not sure what we'll do with it, if anything, but fun to see where chocolate comes from!

At the last Ecoclub, we had kids made wallet out of empty milk and juice boxes. It's amazing how creative we can be when resources are limited.

Inside of the mamey. I cut it like an avocado. The flesh is creamy and has texture like an avocado also, but the taste is hard to describe, a mixture of sweet potato, pumpkin, and squash. I like that it's not very sweet but creamy. Already thinking what I can do with it, maybe filling for a pie!
