Had a nice morning at the weekly markets where they have good mango lassies, croc spring rolls and fresh veggies from the Ord River area.
In the afternoon Freda and I caught the courtesy bus to our first rodeo. Yee ha! I didn't realize that they tied ropes around the bulls and horses flanks to make them buck but I guess that's all part of it. Most of the patrons wore the big cowboy hat, jeans, striped shirt, boots and a fancy belt in true cowboy style. We enjoyed the full program of the riding of bucking bulls, horses and poddy calves (for the kids), bare back riding and barrel racing.
