SAUDADE
Santos has the biggest port in South America and you can see ships going back and forth in the beaches nearby.
I looked over these women who where staring at the sea for a long period of time, not moving. 
As I stare at the distance, I wonder what these women were looking for. Grandmother, mother and daughter were standing still.  The little girl was moving her hand, playing with the wind in her dress.
Perhaps they were waiting for that ship, the one that brings back a loved one.
That day I started to understand the unstranslatable word “saudade” they use in Brazil.
