Hey Im gonna send generic messages about my adventures... if u dont want them ignoreb them :D
Well the rain is drizzling around our ears but that will not dampen our spirits!!! :D I arrived on the island of Hvar which has a policy of half price accom if it rains and free accom if it snows.... CLEARLY these guys are sure of themselves on the rain front.... but it has backfired on them MAJORLY today.... and yday!!!!
My initial arrival in Split was a disaster as I cut the top off my toe and the only think I had to try to stop the gushing blood was.... a tampon, so I had to laugh as I sat curbside with a bleeding foot some plasters, a head of dispair and onlookers gawking at the crayz lady with the bloody tampon on the ground beside her!!! In order to dampen the pain and lift my spirits I decided to have a few solo beers, and was soon joined by the whole of the american army who were on leave. Anytime they compained an irish guy would say would ye shut up, yer not in Iraq now which helped the spirits rise even further.
When I hoped on the Ferry my tipsy senses told me to find a non stern looking worker to tend to my injury so I found a medic..... skulling a can of karotzsky and thought- he will do! He tended to my wound and then proceeded to tend to my ego until I had to tell him to please move away.... yee-ikes, so I found a fun filled lounge and laid my head to rest, and the next thing I knowI have a VERY concerned Sam Foss peering over me saying " you gave me the fright of my life, i bin on the pier for ages trying to find you"!!!! haha!!!
The island is BEAUTIFUL and the ppl are lovely, if not with a VERY bad taste in music, as exhibited in the AWFUL outdoor concert we saw last night!!! The beer is good and cheap. And strangley enough they have gorgeous canopies with comfy sofas specificaaly placed by the sunset and sea in which, we have decided, one must knacker drink!!!! :D
After here we are off to Sarajevo, have free accom set up and much fun ahead of us .... so this adventure is to be continued!!!
