The Fishing Fortress of Mogador

I am by no means a professional, but I believe strongly in the fortune of a moment. In these instances experience and training, albeit very valuable, can be completely irrelevant. I consider myself opportunistic in this sense.
Sometimes the most wonderful instances in this world you don't have to look very hard for either - and the characters themselves would consider their own actions most mundane! But these are gold to me.
Here is where I get the biggest buzz.. capturing peoples day-to-day dealings, musings, expressions...
The extreme bonus is when you are fortunate to capture these expressions somewhere alien - like Essaouira (Mogador) was to me when i was lucky to visit. This ancient walled fortress town both breezes and buzzes. Deep sea fishing is in the blood of all who live here, as I imagine it was in the blood for dozens of preceding generations. At this town the goings-on seemed to be as they would have been 1,000 years ago! The smells the same, and the striking royal blue hues everywhere would have dominated eternally.
I love watching people go about their everyday lives - I don't even need a camera!
cheers
