When I was a kid,

I wanted to see the whole world. Every last bit of it.

I wanted to read all books. Every single one of them.

In order to do that, I wanted to learn all languages. Down to the smallest dialect.

And I wanted to play all instruments. At least at amateur level.

Was I being unreasonable?
