Maria & Brett's HUGE Trip 06-07-08-09-?

ok, so the Socceroos lost in 'that' penalty against Italy; Adriatic summers aren't long enough (bliss!); and we found that you should never use the term "Eastern Bloc" when talking to a Czech (Central Europe, please).

Ulm & Herbrectingen

Brett and Mig performing 'Kneippen'. Discovered by a physician many years ago, to kneippen is to step into a freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing pool of water and to exercise the muscles, said to improve the circulation in the body. This pool was next to the road in the village, and cars would pull up and discharge their occupants to perform kneippen for a few minutes before driving away again. Quirky, but a good laugh. And refreshing!

Walking through the hills and fields around Herbrechtingen in Schwabia, Sth Germany (where Dijana's parents live). Around the bend we witnessed a young calf being born. Ahhh, city folk in the country!
