ok, so the Socceroos lost in 'that' penalty against Italy; Adriatic summers aren't long enough (bliss!); and we found that you should never use the term "Eastern Bloc" when talking to a Czech (Central Europe, please).

Even the tulips wanted to come out and play on this springy Easter weekend. Also in the massive Lednice grounds.

... and it was even more welcoming when we met Vit & Adja who were staying in the same place as us. These two kindly souls invited us out on the town, took us to their favourite Italian restaurant (which produced the most delicious pizzas we'd ever come across - yes, a very big call!) and then to their favourite bar, and refused our insistent offers to pay for our drinks. Young, ambitious, and super friendly.
