Sticking together, no adult supervision needed. Some of the youngest of village provide a metaphor for the plight of the kids in developing nations. Even at such a young age, these kids already know that humanity is more successful when we work together.

For the young kids of Rajasthan, life couldn’t be any more different than my own upbringing, and the generations that follow mine. School is a luxury, and work is a necessity for these kids. By sharing their story and their struggle, we can open our eyes and work collectively, to ensure these kids achieve equality, have a quality education and have the support needed to actualize their ambitions.

Skin dried, nose running, this young boy shields himself from the hot sun. Through his eyes, the struggle is obvious, also discernable, is the determination and resilience that punctuates his life, and which will ultimately dictate his future.

A cheeky young boy, defending his lotus crisps enjoying the simple pleasure of life having a joke with the local village security. Looking after all the kids of the village while the parents are out picking cotton and opium, the man takes up the arduous challenge.
