    My green luggage rolls and also has zip out straps so I can carry it as a backpack. My intention was to carry it on my back. After hiking about a half hour I realized that the trail was so smooth I could roll my bag. I ended up rolling it for over 90% of the hike. I got lots of smiles, some laughter, and a few pictures. The trail is one of the most hiked in NZ. Folks come from all over the world with their top of the line equipment. After awhile, I had a pretty good routine worked out. From....is this the way to the airport? To needing a front end alignment etc.. Whatever, it worked for me and saved my back.
