Hurray - another Public Holiday! This one is UN day (24 October). Palau is a UN member (as is Australia). So each have one vote. Palau is an independent so many countries hope Palau will ally with them. For more see: http://palauun.org/
But for us all here - another day of food and festivals. This one features a Pig chase. Not as simple as it sounds because the pig is oiled and you have to grab it to win it. I don't think we will be partaking. But more than likely we will be going for a swim - here is a picture of our Saturday team. I am hiding - Jan is not because he is as brown as a Palauan now! The young fit ones are the national team; one of whom is being primed for the Olympics in Rio 2016.
