Storm Clouds desend from the mountains along the Napali Coast of Kuai' Hawai'i but that doesn't discourage one lone man in his out-rigger canoe, he sits at the mercy of the wind and water watching the ancient gods of volcanoes and jungles dance with the waves.

This photograph was taken minutes away form my house in Holliston Massachusettes during late autumn. Here one can see the numerous array of colors in the early evening sunset. The beauty of death and decay is seen in the bare log that sits in water as leaves fall all around. A quiet fragment of natures ever shifting dress in the cycles of the seasons.
