However the land offers fertile meadows for stockbreeding. by: lake_cildir Views[608] Fishing can be carried out over the four seasons, so it is an important economic source of income for the local people. The lake contains crayfish and mirror carp (cyprinus carpio). by: lake_cildir Views[456] Lake Cildir is located in north-eastern Turkey at about 1,900 m. Because of the altitude, the clouds are almost at the ground. Perhaps this is why people have called it Cildir, lake of shadows. by: lake_cildir Views[664]
