JN will say that I have developed “le goût de luxe” or in other words, the "need of luxuries" over the years in terms of our travel accommodations. I retort that after 30, I don't want to share a bathroom anymore. Being gently woken by a voice whispering in my ear “don’t step in the puke” brings back nightmarish memories. I really can’t see getting up in the middle of the night, getting dressed and escorting SB to a bathroom down the hall these days, either.
The future groom has been kind enough to make reservations for us at a hotel in downtown La Paz. Their website advertises carpet in each room and hot water 24/7. My kind of place. Give me my own toilet and round the clock hot water and I'm set.
