"WE HAVE TO WORK TOGHETER, TO REALIZE THE PROJECTS PAINTED IN THE CHILDREN'S EYES" . Maurice is an orphan and he will also be a doctor; He needs to find the solution to the HIV; He wants to be the last HIV's orphan. In April 2007 a woman arrived at the orphanage: she brought with her an underfed baby. The father died some time before because of AIDS, and the woman was going to follow him. She left Maurice at the orphanage. HIV, in kenya called "ukimuy", has decimate the population and it is still keeping on doing it; In the poorest areas it arrives to shocking percentage and the life expectancy is just 48 years. In these areas is sadly possible to see totally empty ghost villages destroyed by AIDS. HIV left alone millions of adults and it is leaving alone too many children. [machaka orphanage, Meru county] - - "sina kitu chochote, lakini nina kila kitu" - - "i've nothing, but i have everything"
