Since leaving school I have worked with trees. I am also in my second year as a Director of the International Tree Foundation, where I am involved in furthering the ITF’s dry-lands programme in the Sahara and Sahel. I am particularly interested in tree and community woodland projects that not only halt, retard and reverse desertification, but also have an economic benefit and contribute to the lives of local people.
