This photo captures two men in traditional Gulf clothes striding powerfully through the souk. I like the way the light hits them giving them a stong sense of importance.

The amazing souk in Damascus showed Syrian people from all age groups coming together to work and play. I like this image of the tired, weary old man and the transfixed young boy.

These boys were running wild throughout the souk in the quietness of the early Friday morning on the first day of Eid. Smoking, playing with guns dressed in their favourite t-shirts, they were up to mischeif!
