Sad goodbye to NZ……next destination Santiago, Chile.
Got ripped off by the taxi driver from the airport to the city….well… to be fair he did drive me to several places so I could get my bus ticket to Pucon and drop my bags of at the bus station…but still. Should have got the bus and then a local cab once in the city. Oh well….I´ll put it down to experience.
Spent a few hours in Santiago (the capital of Chile) ….not overly impressed…just another city. Even the architecture was pretty unimpressive.
Got the nightbus later to Pucon. The buses here are great…..like business class in a plane….nice wide reclining seats…so I slept for the whole journey. Only to be woken when I got to my transfer destination.
