We’d saved Angkor Wat the largest and the most famous of the temples for today. We hadn’t planned to see any other temples today as we’d see enough the day before. Angkor Wat is by size and scale of workmanship the most spectacular. It is one of the largest temples in the world, which when sitting on the lawns in front makes it an incredible backdrop. Had no other plans except to see this temple and relax outside, read and to write up my journal.
