Lazy Wednesday afternoon in Vangvieng
After all the physical activities from the day before, I treated myself to a day of doing absolutely nothing. Tim and I bought some DVD’s to watch at a local café/bar. (just to make a change from Friends ....which they have playing constantly all day!) It was only a few minutes into watching Rambo Four, that I felt it was probably not the best film to watch in Laos considering it’s volatile and war affected past. However, looking around we were the only to “Falang” there…..the bar had slowly filled up with locals.....they appreared to love it as Slyvester Stallone took out half the population of SE Asia! Post Rambo, lightened the mood with Juno.
So that’s pretty much it today…laying on the beds eating, and watching movies.
