Chilled out for the rest of the day enjoying several Beerlao on the terrace overlooking the river.
Headed out for Louangphrabang on the 11 o’clock bus. There were two buses heading for LP, one of which was rammed packed and leaving earlier…..there was no way we could all fit in. After a little debating, we ended up again, having our own bus (plus an English couple from Hove…small world)
Got to LP in good time and the journey was made even better when we overtook the other bus laden with passengers half way in our spacious bus.
I met up with some other travelers in LP that I’d met previously in Laos and shared a beer or two watching the sun go down over the mountains.
