My Travels

This is a day by day journal, so in the future I can look back and reflect on my experiences and those I have shared them with.

Biking Laung Nam Tha

Myself and a few of the group for the day before hired some bikes for the day to explore the area.  We set off and had only been riding for half and hour before the heavens opened.  We got absolutley drenched!!  We sought shelter under a local farmers house until it passed.  In addition to this Tim, one of the Aussie got a puncture.  So we had to turn back.

Making the best of a bad situation, donned with waterproofs and ponchos, we later set out again.  It was a great afternoon's biking; riding across the farm and village tracks to see temples, waterfalls and a bar/restaurant in the middle of nowhere.  Quite bizarre but a lovely view.

All in all a great fun day despite the weather, crap bikes, and foot thick mud.
