Yangshuo - Balloon Ride

Up at 5:30 am to take balloon ride over the valley and river. Fantastic!!!!! Not a clear day but spectacular all the same.  It was amazing to see the area from the sky.  The Health Safety briefing was to say the least, brief.....No smmoking and bend ze knees when landing.  It was only when someone later asked what would happen if the balloon fell......pray I guess.

Spent the rest of the day chilling out and writing up my blog.

Went for dinner with the swiss/German couple (Marcus and Arnya) and Catherine (from the Wall trek - who was also travelling in China)

Since it was Halloween there were a few parties going on, I felt obliged to pop into Monkey Janes Rooftop Bar for a quick pint.  Several later, and meeting up with the usual suspects I got back to the hostel in the early hours
