March is kite flying season and kids go to the park near the Grand Palace to have kite fights Views[263] children fight for air supremacy during the windy month of March. I wanted to capture a Tuk-Tuk in motion - here, I sat drinking mandarin juice squeezed from the green/orange fruits at breakfast time as a noisy three-wheeler passed. The figure on the right expresses how I felt about the noise/smoke/disturbance Views[243] like a stick of chalk bobbing in the pool - in the hills of north Thailand Views[241] I was upset that the elephants were tethered by chain and still had a harness strapped to them even off duty. We trekked in the dry season when they are only small but later they grow large and eat many American tourists. This specimen is likely to be a male Delias Pasithoe Thyra (or Fruhstorfer)found in Nepal, Assam, Burma, South-West China, Yunnan and Thailand.
