Ma'alula, Syria

SYRIA | Friday, 21 November 2008 | Views [927] | Comments [1]

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, I've been keeping myself busy in Damascus.  So far Syria is definitely my favorite middle eastern country.  The people here are so friendly and hospitable.  Even after I tell them I'm American.  I really love Damascus, it will be hard to pull away from here and keep traveling.  This is a place I could stay awhile.  Anyway, Ma'alula.  The main draw to Ma'alula is that it's the only place in the world where Aramaic is still spoken.  Yep, that's about it.  Nothing much to see there, as you'll notice in the pictures.  That's about all I have to say about that place.
