While I was born and raised in the U.S., having an Italian father with a whole half of my family from Calabria really shaped my view toward life, the simple things in particular. When I realized most people didn't live or eat like us it forced me to want to go out and explore how different their lives were. I have moved around the U.S., experiencing different parts of the country, plus I used to live in Berlin, Germany and am an alumni of Freie Universitat.
