In the sane hall as the Recling Buddha, one can make a donation to receive hundreds of small coins. The tradition, then, is to place one coin in each container, making a wish each time. I really appreciate the many oppportunities to pray or make a wish in Thailand. These opportunities have very much put me in touch with what I most value.
