good to see this place again, i visited albara, apamea and serjila in december 2009, and i often think what is going on there at the moment.... good luck with the oman thing.

Thanks! I had spent a bit over a month in Syria studying Arabic, and it's devastating to hear the news of what is happening there now. The people I met were so warm and generous!
