Turns out our homestay host OWNED HIS OWN RESTAURANT – so every evening by moonlight, we had dish after dish after dish of Kerala's best seafood specialties (picked up each morning live from the docks of the fish market) – shrimp, calamari and shark, all swimming in their own mini-Arabian Seas of rich chilied sauces.
