dharmadam island is a small uninhabited island situated about 100 metres from the shore.

Dharmadam is a town in thalassery taluk of kannur district in the state of kerala, india.

how to reach: en route kozhikode kannur ,its about 7 km from thalassery town in kannur.reach dharmadam ,near moidu bridge deviate and about a kilometre, you reach the dharmadam beach.

from the beach ,the island can be seen

the island is about 100 metres from the shore.its a rock formation with trees

during low tide, you can walk onto the island

on the shore ,there are many rock formations ,red laterite .some are three to four metres tall

these are ideal for beach photography

the place is not much well maintained for tourism and is not much visited but i find it

very much good especially for the scope of beach photography

time to visit:early morning and evening sunset would be ideal
