First Days in Bremen

Well, I'm in Bremen now.  My flights went surprisingly well, so I ended up flying first class for the transatlantic portion.  First class is nice, but it's more fun when there's people there to revel in it with you.  It's still a far cry better than coach though.

The train ride from Düsseldorf to Bremen was also fairly uneventful.  Lots of windmills up around here.  We all ended up spread between two houses with our lodgings.  We're two to a room.  All of us went to wander around town a bit last night, then went up to sit around on the roof some.  At 23.30 the sun was almost down all the way.

This morning I woke up at 05.00.  There was full sun outside, and I went out to walk around town.  The market in the city center is almost set up by 08.00, but the majority of the booths aren't open.  We had our first class, and that seems like it'll be good.  We're supposed to have a tour around the city center in about an hour and a half.

I'll write more if anything interesting happens.  These keyboards are infuriating.  Pictures will come later.
