Pre trip nerves and excitment!

It's hard to believe that the trip we've been discussing since I was ill in hospital is already here. We fly to New Zealand on Saturday 20th Sept- less than 3 days to go!! I have 1 more day in work and the pre trip preparations are virtually complete so all that remains is for us to read the guide books and get increasingly more excited!
The itinerary so far looks something like this:
20th Sept- 25th Oct - New Zealand
26th Oct - 2nd Feb 2009 - Central America in roughly the following order: Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatamala, Belize and Mexico
We are looking forward to catching up with James' brother Simon and girlfriend Rachel in New Zealand, seeing lots of natural wonders, soaking up some tropical sunshine, spotting exotic wildlife and hopefully loads of unexpected pleasures too! We're both currently feeling a little daunted but extremely excited too - can't wait to get going now!
