Summer 2009- Outline: I'll arrive in Kathmandu on the 29th June with three other volunteers from Bristol University. We'll have a few days to see the city and adjust before we meet up with the other volunteers for the training week which starts on Friday 3rd July. After training we will travel in Ilam, a tea growing area in the East of Nepal, for the project. The eighteen volunteers from BVDA are split into three villages, in groups of six. Whilst on project we will be working Friday-Wednesday, with a day off on Thursday which is market day. On Thursdays we should be able to meet up with all the volunteers in Ilam (and hopefully have internet access!) After the six week project, I have about three and a half weeks to travel in Nepal and India, before my flight on the 15th of September from Delhi back to London.
