    Hey Friends!

    We're still in Tokyo and having a wicked time! We've done a ton of sightseeing and are wizards of the Tokyo subway system. The jetlag is starting to sort itself out (last night we stayed up until 10:30pm! haha). We've seen a ton of temples/shrines and gardens but one of our fave activities is watching Japanese TV. Seriously, it is hilarious!

    We have two more days here and then we're off on a trip up to Saporro on the northern island of Hokkaido!

    Emma and Hannah,
    If you have a chance go to AKASAKA MITSUKE (the closest train station to the Canadian Embassy) and go to Shakey's Pizza. Ask at the KOBAN (police box) It really close to the station. In the 8 years in Tokyo i spent more time at Shakey's than any other place. It's the best place for squid pizza. The close the station part may very on the exit you choose. There will most likely be an old black guy there named Ted Watson. Say hi for me he speaks Japanese like a black guy speaking Japanese.It's incredible to witness. Believe it or not he will be there. this place use to rock at night. Remember my policy buy a pitcher of beer share with the Japanese beside you and drink free for the rest of the night.
