First Week in Mexico

Well, I've been here in Mexico for one week now and to be honest i haven't seen that much but i'm learning how different mexican life is from european life.  I live next to a huge modern shopping mall where my school is, on a kind of industrial estate about 20 mins out of town.  I've only nbeen into town once and it was very pretty - loads of nice little plazas to explore and pretty streets, so i'm really looking forward to seeing more of it.  I went out to a party last night where i met everyone from work and made a few mexican friends too!  I start teaching properly on Wednesday once i've finished my training, so that's a bit scary but i need to start having ome cash come in!  Mexico's cheap but you have to pay for everything, even for your rubbish to be taken away!
