You really get a close-up look at 'farm-to-table' food in Peru! We'll spare you the photos of the butchering though - that's done in quite openly in all markets. They find a use for all the bits and pieces here, nothing goes to waste. Surprisingly we're still not vegetarians! :-) The chickens are across the street from our hostel, live ones arrive every morning ... you get the picture.
